'Dragon Ball Fighter Z' new trailer shows Android 17 and 18 joining the fight
Ahead of the launch of "Dragon Ball Fighter Z" in late January next year, Bandai Namco has been steadily releasing teaser trailers about some of the upcoming characters featured in the upcoming game. The newest trailer, which was released earlier this week, is all about Android 18, and her twin brother, Android 17.
In the short trailer, Android 18's prowess in fighting was shown, along with some pretty formidable tag-team moves with her twin brother. In a description written by Bandai Namco, it read: "Next on our list of featured FighterZ is the swift and powerful Android 18! With the support of her twin brother Android 17, these two are a deadly duo."
It was revealed that she can do a terrific fireball style attack, which is pretty much damaging as the move can create a huge explosion when unleashed.
First revealed in August, Android 18 and 17 will be joined by other new fighters such as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. Other teaser trailers were released by Bandai Namco in the preceding days as well, featuring characters such as "Cell," "Android 16," Android 21," "Majin Buu," and "Gohan."
A trailer detailing the game's story was also released by Bandai Namco early November. In the trailer narration, it said: "One day, a troop of clones appears. At the same time, lots of incidents occur."
"As the warriors start to fall unconscious—one by one, The Player must link with the Super Warriors and search for the hidden truth of the story consisting of 3 arcs. Explore the map while strengthening your bond with the Super Warriors, whether it's saving allies or finding powerful skills, it's all up to you."
"Dragon Ball Fighter Z" is an upcoming fighting game published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and developed by Arc System Works. The game will see an international release on Jan. 26 next year and Feb. 1 in Japan.
