|PIC1|Youth Xplosion 2006 will launch in Long Island, New York, where Pastor Donnie McClurkin and Perfecting Faith Church will host Christian artists, athletes, stars and local Pastors.

Guests include: Kirk Franklin; Cece Winans; Mary Mary; former NY Knick Allan Houston; Tye Tribbett; AJ Calloway; Youthful Praise; former NY Liberty center Kym Hampton; The Katinas; GB5; BET's Gerard Henry; and many others.

Held July 27 - July 29 2006, the festival will incorporate an array of events that will bring together youth from all over the nation, including nightly worship services featuring Kirk Franklin and Tye Tribbett; live musical performances by Youthful Praise, Mary Mary, The Katinas, Cross Movement, GB5 and local talent from the Tri-State area; and an All-star Gospel Concert featuring Gospel recording artist Tye Tribbett and others.

Daily activities include one-on-one seminars for young women with Cece Winans; a young men's seminar with Pastor Donnie McClurkin; a open rap session for all attendees hosted by actor/host AJ Calloway; various panel discussions about the music industry & salvation; an Athletic Tournament with Allan Houston and Kym Hampton; a Fashion Show with FUBU and other top designers; and an unsigned talent showcase.

All registrants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Activities are being held at various locations throughout the Long Island & Brooklyn areas including Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn; Nassau Coliseum & Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, NY and Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, NY.
