Everyone wants to strangle Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) at the moment, but what if he may actually be telling the truth? "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that the storyline involving Will (Chandler Massey) will leave everyone in shock.

There is a chance that this whole mystery could be a way for Ben to redeem himself, although it is not clear how certain it could be. Chandler Massey did say that some scenes of Will's death were reshot. It is not clear how many scenes, but fans are already seeing some flashbacks happening since the start of the mystery. Interestingly enough, the scenes of Ben strangling Will have not been shown yet as well, so this leaves everyone wondering if what happened, well, actually happened.

Ben knows something about Will, but it seems that everyone is having some difficulty getting any details about him. Ben could not say much and all he knows was that Clyde (James Read) came to see him at Bayview and told him about it. However, it is worth noting that Ben mentioned knowing some people. He was likely referring to the ones who supposedly have Will. Even though he does not know exactly where Will is, he is familiar with the ones who have him.

Could this be Ben's shot at redemption? Possibly, but it might have to take more than information if he wants to get back on the straight path again. The only way he could be redeemed is if he is innocent of murdering Will, and/or if he puts his life on the line to save Will from whoever may have him. That is not to say the other murders he committed were not as foul, plus he tortured Abby (Marci Miller) for some time. If Ben wants redemption, then he will be facing an uphill battle for all the wrongs he has done.

Moving behind the scenes, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that a new face will be coming into Salem. "The Young and the Restless" actor Greg Rikaart has been cast for the NBC soap in a mystery role. It is not clear when he will start showing up in Salem, so fans will have to wait and see when he will make an entrance.

Head writer Ron Carlivati may not be putting in new characters at the moment, but it seems that he is already making plans for next year. Tyler Christopher, known for playing Nikolas Cassadine on "General Hospital," will be coming to Salem and now Rikaart will also be coming as well. However, this makes fans wonder if appearing on "Days of Our Lives" will affect his appearances on "The Young and the Restless," but it has been revealed that being on the NBC soap will not stop Rikaart's character Kevin from showing up in Genoa City.

Although his role is unknown, fans are now speculating what character he could be playing. The same people have stayed in Salem over so many years, and the residents often go back and forth with the same partners, so there is the need to bring in someone new.

There is also the fact that there is no villain to wreak havoc in Salem at the moment. The DiMera patriarch Stefano was the big baddie of the soap for a long time, but that ended when Joseph Mascolo passed away. Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) was also killed off and Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) seems to be turning over a new leaf and being a good guy.

Yet, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers do tease that Rikaart could be playing another one of the good guys, even though there are enough of that already.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12 p.m. EDT on NBC.
