In the next episode of "Criminal Minds," the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) led by Agent David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler) investigate a couple of deaths in Roswell.

The trailer and promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "False Flag" was recently released and showed Rossi and Lewis interrogating suspect Melissa Miller (Zelda Williams) in a police station in New Mexico. They lean in on Miller as she is seated. Apparently, two people were mysteriously murdered in succession in Roswell. They were members of a conspiracy group which Miller was also member of, so it seems.

Conspiracy theorists tend to make unconventional opinions that usually get them into trouble. So when it comes to stories of conspiracies, Roswell is a place that attracts these kind of people because of the shady government activities in the area. It is possible that the victims may have found themselves in too deep with nefarious individuals there.

The victim is shown lying in the morgue as an agent looks at evidence in a plastic packet. Later, Rossi tells Agent Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), "We have blood on our hands." It seems that their only lead is Miller who remains defiant in the interrogation room. Lewis warns her, "I will nail you for it." However, the cunning Miller replies convincingly, "Good luck." It remains to be seen if she actually had those victims killed in Roswell.

In the last episode, the team caught the killer Jeffrey Whitfield (Liam Cronin) who liked the attention he got from the press regarding his murders. He purposely leaked the details so that it would be televised to the public. He was eventually arrested and brought to justice when the team located his whereabouts.

"Criminal Minds" season 13 episode 9 will air on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 11 p.m. EST on CBS.
