Clarissa Dickson Wright and Frank Skinner to join St Paul's conversations

Four household names in British culture will be talking about their journeys of faith at St Paul's Cathedral.

Comedian Frank Skinner, celebrity chef Clarissa Dickson Wright, former Poet Laureate Andrew Motion and detective novelist PD James will be the special guests for the 'conversations under the dome' series.

The conversations take place across four Sunday evenings between Easter and Pentecost, and will last around 45 minutes each.

The free events start and end with a celebration of the Eucharist and the four conversations will be complemented by music and readings reflecting the tastes and interests of the speakers.

Sunday 7 April – 6pm

The Eucharist at which Professor Ann Loades, CBE, Professor Emeritus of Theology, University of Durham, will introduce the series.

Sunday 14 April – 6pm

Comedian Frank Skinner in conversation with the Andrew Carwood, Director of Music.

Sunday 21 April – 6pm

Chef Clarissa Dickson Wright in conversation with Sarah Eynstone, Minor Canon and Chaplain.

Sunday 28 April – 6pm

Poet Andrew Motion in conversation with Mark Oakley, Canon Chancellor.

Sunday 5 May – 6pm

Novelist P D James in conversation with Michael Hampel, Canon Precentor.

Sunday 12 May – 6pm

The Eucharist at which Michael Hampel will give an address to draw the series to a close.
