Christian country singer Carrie Underwood's husband, professional hockey player Mike Fisher rarely shares photos on his Instagram account (@mfisher1212), but when he does, Underwood thinks it's absolutely adorable.

In fact, Underwood loved Fisher's most recent post so much that she shared the same photo on her Instagram account (@carrieunderwood) and wrote, "They have my heart..."

In the photo, Mike can be seen lounging around with his smiling firstborn son Isaiah Michael. He captioned it, "Me and my little man" and added the hashtag #lifeisgood.

Fisher earlier told The Tennessean that there is nothing better in the world than to share an afternoon nap with his son on his La-Z-Boy recliner.

"You're just cuddling together. Just being together," he said. "It's the best, for sure."

Isaiah Michael was born on February 27 this year, and Fisher is really relishing the joys of fatherhood.  So much so that he admits to feeling pretty bummed when his work as a National Hockey League (NHL) player forces him to be away from his family for days at a time.

"You come back from eight days, and it's like, holy cow, he changed so much," he said. "It's crazy how fast it goes. You almost want to slow down time a little bit."

His wife helps by sending him lots of photos and videos of Isaiah Michael, or sometimes even sharing video calls with him. However, Fisher admits that nothing beats quality time with his family.

The only downside to being a father is that Fisher constantly worries about his son. He finds himself checking up on Isaiah Michael, especially when the baby is not making any sound.

"You almost want to hear him cry to make sure everything's okay," he admitted. "Too much silence, you're making sure everything's okay."

And while raising a son is a lot of work, Fisher said that he would not trade the experience for anything, describing parenthood as "a miracle from God."
