Christian country singer Carrie Underwood is leading the pack for the CMT Music Awards this June 10 with a total of five nominations, including one for Video of the Year and two nods for the Female Video of the Year category.

Underwood's "Something in the Water" earned her the Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year nominations, while "Little Toy Guns" was also nominated for the latter category, according to the Tennessean.

Coming in next to Underwood are Kenny Chesney and Lady Antebellum with four nominations each. Meanwhile, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Maddie & Tae, and Miranda Lambert each has three nominations.

Other categories for the CMT Music Awards include Male Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year, Group Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, and Breakthrough Video of the Year.

"I believe that our nominees are a reflection of what people are wanting to hear and see online and on CMT in terms of videos," said John Hamlin, executive producer of the 2015 CMT Music Awards. "I want to see numbers that reflect passion in their fans. This is about the most popular country music of today."

The CMT Music Awards is known for showcasing the best performers and the most unexpected guests. They have not made the announcements as to who will be the guests and performers this year, and Hamlin said that they like to keep their audiences guessing.

"We have a couple of out-of-format stars," he teased. "We're trying to create TV moments. We set a high bar. The CMT Music Awards has its own personality and it's a distinct personality. We want the show to reflect the (variety of the) iPod music list of our audience."

The show's winners are chosen by the fans, and voting has already begun at www.cmt.com. It will close on June 8 at 9 a.m.
