"Captain America: Civil War" will see the Avengers taking sides as Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) have different views about a new government act that aims to regulate superhero activity. And while the upcoming film will no doubt feature the Marvel heroes arguing their respective sides, fans can expect the film to be filled with epic action sequences. A new trailer gives a preview of that, with some of the Avengers going head to head in a physical fight.

While Marvel was absent at the San Diego Comic-Con this year, "Captain America: Civil War" made an appearance at the Asia Pop Comic Con convention in Manila, Philippines this weekend. Comic Book Movie reports that a new teaser trailer was released, to the delight of fans. According to the website, the trailer was so well-received that it was played twice for the audience, and those who were at the event took to Twitter to describe certain scenes in the trailer.

The trailer reportedly showed how Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) will come to blows in the upcoming film. The two get into a big showdown, with the former looking seriously hurt after their fight. It also appears that she is acting as a double agent after she is seen reporting the Captain's actions to General Ross (William Hurt) and Tony Stark.

New Marvel characters are also joining the Avengers. Ant Man (Paul Rudd) was shown thanking Captain America for letting him join the team. There's also a comedic scene wherein Ant Man is seen pressing down on the Captain's muscles at some point in their conversation — a move which Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) did in the first Captain America movie. The film also sees the reunion of Steve Rogers with his best friend, Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier.

"Captain America: Civil War" premieres on May 6, 2016.
