"The View" host and "Fuller House" actress Candace Cameron Bure no longer feels proud to be associated with the Republican Party partly because of the "crazy antics" being carried out by Donald Trump.

Bure said the 2016 race has turned into "a bit of a circus," and it's all because of the "tactless" business magnate. She cited the instance when Trump ridiculed fellow candidate John Kasich's eating habits, which she considers very immature.

"It's incredibly disappointing," she told Fox News. "And you listen to Donald talk about how unpresidential John is eating, and how unpresidential are you being by pointing that out, Donald?"

"I would like to see some maturity amongst the candidates and I'm not seeing that," she said.

Other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Kasich should have acted with more integrity, but unfortunately, Bure said they also have not been up to speed.

"Of course it's not going well because everybody is out for themselves, not for the country. You're interested in yourself more than the vote for the delegates. I am disappointed in my party," she said.

She confessed that she has never voted for a Democratic presidential candidate before, but she is seriously considering it now. "You know, I'm really looking at everyone this year. I really am," she admitted. "I don't know who I am going to vote for at this point, I honestly don't, but I will pray about the decision."

Bure was actually criticised earlier for posting a photo showing her with Hillary Clinton on her Instagram account (@candacecbure). "Nailed it! #HillaryOnTheView," Bure captioned the photo.

Because of Clinton's stand supporting abortion and the activities being carried out by Planned Parenthood, Bure's fans were fuming to see her rubbing elbows with the Democratic front-runner.

"Candace is a practicing Christian who is very pro-life. Yet she takes a picture with a big smile on her face with someone who just admitted the other day, and has in the past, that an unborn baby is worthless," one fan commented.

Another fan said it's actually pretty cool of Bure to be so nice to Clinton even though they don't share the same beliefs. "Christians should love and respect everyone, even if their beliefs differ. That's what Jesus would do. I think this shows true Christianity," the fan said.
