Activision has shared new details about the DLC lineup coming to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Giving fans a taste of the now concluded PlayStation Experience 2015, the publisher revealed the first expansion pack for the game, which is called Awakening.

In it comes Der Eisendrachen, the next chapter to the game's infamous Zombie mode. No other details were mentioned about the new episode, although Gotta Be Mobile says that the name suggests that hungry Nazi zombies are coming to terrorize the land.

With the Awakening DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" are four additional multiplayer maps. The first one is called Skyjacked and it is a remake of the Hijacked multiplayer map from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." Gamers can expect wall running in this area.

The next map to be added with the new expansion pack is called Rise, which is believed to be another vertical map that will allow gamers to test new jumping modes and running on walls as well.

Awakening is also bringing a new map called Splash in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Here, Treyarch takes the action at a waterpark. This isn't a surprise as the game studio always makes use of an amusement park or any other entertainment-centric establishments.

The last map on the list players will get to trudge in the military science fiction first-person shooter is called Gauntlet. Not much is known about it, although it is expected to offer varied gameplay. It is believed to come in both modern and vintage makings.

Activision says that the Awakening DLC is coming to PS4 gamers first in January. A leak that exposed that release schedule of all four DLC packs prepared for the game reveal that the exact date will be Jan. 26. Xbox One and PC players are expected to get it by Feb. 25.

For the rest of the DLC, PS4 players will get their hands on them first. The second expansion pack is reportedly dropping on Mar. 29 (for PS4), Apr. 28 (for Xbox One and PC). The third one will be available May 31 and Jun. 30 while the fourth one will be out Aug. 2 and Sept. 1.
