"Battlefield 1" has grown a lot since its release which included a WW1 shooter content. However, it appears that EA and DICE aims to deliver more. Both announced the next addition to the game through a promising downloadable content (DLC) pack titled "Turning Tides."

The official website of the game announced that the "Battlefield 1 Turning Tides" DLC will be released in two parts. Its first part will come out on Dec. 11 while the second part will be released on January 2018. The next expansion will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, providing players new maps, new operation, new weapons and new Elite Class.

The first part of the DLC is set during the 1915 British amphibious invasion of the Gallipoli peninsula. This will take place on two new maps — Cape Helles and Achi Baba. There are eight new weapons that players could use for the game, including six guns and two melee weapons.

As of now, there are no details yet about the full list of weapons from the expansion, but there are expectations that the M1917 Trench Carbine and Maschinenpistole M1912/P.16 would be featured. Also, gamers can fight while on the waters with an L-Class Destroyer.

The second release of "Battlefield 1 Turning Tides" is set to the North Sea with two new maps in Zeebrugge and Heligoland. Players will get the chance to use the new Royal Marines and the spawn on the C-Class Airship.

The new expansion will also integrate the Conquest Assault mode. It will feature a team of defenders that will try to hold several map points. Alongside the release, players can also see different Service Assignments, Specializations, Dog Tags, Service Stars, Medals, and Ribbons.

Gamers with a Premium Pass could get an early access to the "Turning Tides" DLC while the rest of the players would need to wait for a couple of weeks in order to buy them as a standalone expansion. Players can also try the "Name of the Tsar" and "They Shall Not Pass" content updates between Nov. 22 and Dec. 4. These contents will be available on Dec. 8 and 10.
