When it comes to mobile games, developers Tencent is no foreign name, having produced many popular games on mobile. As such, it is not at all surprising that they will be making a mobile game based on popular anime and manga title "Attack on Titan."

The new "Attack on Titan" mobile game is actually entitled "Attack on Titan: Dedicate Your Heart." This upcoming game was first found on a Chinese gaming platform called TapTap where Chinese gamers can pre-order games, as per IGN. The description was not exactly as detailed as expected, but it did say that it would be aligned with the first season of the anime.

Unlike most "Attack on Titan" games, "Dedicate Your Heart" is more of a personal game as players become a new member of the 104th Training Corps. Those who have watched the anime or read the manga knows that this is also where the main characters are, including Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.

As for the game's mechanics, it will reportedly be in first-person and will feature quick-time events allowing players to chain combos in taking down the Titans. This part of the game has not been shown much.

Tencent will be developing the game in collaboration with Kodansha Comics, the publisher of the "Attack on Titan" manga. That said, they will also be collaborating with the original voice actors of the anime to keep the game as authentic it can be.

This move by Tencent is not a new one as they also recently made a deal with the developer of popular battle royale game "PUBG," the PUBG Corp. Tencent would also be making a mobile version of "PUBG," but so far, it will only be available in China.

"Attack on Titan: Dedicate Your Heart" will also then be released in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and a few other countries in Asia. There is no exact release date mentioned or whether it will come to the West or not.
