Arrival of baby Meredith Grace in Duggar family greeted warmly by fans, but not all

Childbirth is supposed to be a joyous occasion, so when Josh's wife Anna Duggar finally gave birth to their fourth child and Duggar grandbaby number five Meredith Grace, the whole Duggar family rejoiced and thanked God for the newest addition to their family.

They even shared photos of the happy family on their Facebook page and wrote, "She's here! Meredith Grace Duggar: 7lbs 14ozs, 20-1/2" long. Anna and baby Meredith are resting and doing well—thanks for all of your prayers! We will try to post more photos as soon as possible!"

People bombarded the post with warm greetings of congratulations, with a lot of fans noting just how much Meredith Grace resembles her elder sister Mackynzie.

However, when Josh shared the same photos of his new baby girl on his Instagram account (@joshduggar), he was swamped with a lot of hurtful and malicious comments in light of his child molestation scandal that forced TLC to cancel their show "19 Kids and Counting."

"Get your hands off that child pedophile," someone wrote. But that's not even the worst of it. "Hopefully you don't molest her like you did your sisters. You're disgusting. Go to hell," an angry Instagram user posted.

There were even some who strongly advised Anna to be on alert at all times and take care of Meredith Grace from Josh, while others wondered why Anna is perfectly fine knowing about Josh's sordid past.

"Can't believe him, PATHETIC!! I just can't understand why Anna doesn't have a problem with it!! If (he) was sick in the head enough to do it to his sisters, what's stopping him doing it to Mackynzie or (Meredith)," someone fumed.
