Christian country singer Carrie Underwood is more determined than ever to shed her post-baby weight months after giving birth to her and husband Mike Fisher's firstborn son Isaiah Michael. To achieve this, she has been working out nonstop either by herself or with her husband.

On her Instagram account (@carrieunderwood), she shared a selfie taken with her dog, who is seen busy licking her face. "Cloudy but no rain = perfect day to run outside! 1mi treadmill warm up, tabata arms and abs, finish up with a 3 mile run/lunge up the hills. I'm a sweaty mess, but fortunately I have sweet Penny to help get me cleaned up!" she wrote.

Fitness is really important to Underwood, and that is why she developed a fitness clothing line with Dick's Sporting Goods called CALIA by Carrie Underwood. The name comes from the Greek word "kalos," which means beauty. It can also be about the calla lily flower, which she describes as both beautiful and strong.

In a YouTube video, the new mother shared that her motto is to "stay the path," and she loves how it inspires women to stay focused on their dreams and goals.

"We are on our own journeys in different places and different speeds and it's all about to keep going, to keep pushing yourself a little bit further. You've got to start somewhere and you'll feel better about yourself if you just stay the path," she said.

With her clothing line, Underwood wanted to provide busy women with clothes that can help them go from the gym to running errands with ease. "It's not all about the workout and it's not all about the cute little fluffy stuff. It's the kind of thing that you can basically wear all day. You can get done what you need to get done, and you can feel good and look good while doing it," she said.
