Difficult times will surely come, but as God's children we shouldn't be scared or shaken. We have a hope that can never be shaken, and His name is Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus has overcome all sorts of hardship and difficulty any human being can face. He went through all sorts of temptation just like we do, but He overcame them all. He was beaten and nailed to a cross, but He rose from the grave as a proof of His victory over everything that killed mankind through sin.

Are you facing difficult times right now, my friend? If you are, I want to encourage you to hope in Christ our Lord. Here are some Bible verses that will help you face difficult times as you meditate on them.

For those who are losing hope after continuous bad experiences - Romans 8:28-30

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified."

For those who feel unloved - Romans 8:35-39

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:

"For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

For those who feel like no one understands - Hebrews 4:14-16

"Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

For those who feel tempted to give up on Christ - John 16:32-33

"Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.""

For those facing difficulty while preaching the Gospel - Matthew 28:18-20

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen."
