According to a report from Market Exclusive, Microsoft is set to launch the Xbox One Slim during this year's E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), which takes place in June. It is further explained that this may be the Xbox leak that was released back in February.

According to the report, developers often unveil or launch their newest products during the annual E3. It is further speculated that Microsoft may do the same and take advantage of the large media presence to reveal and release the Xbox One Slim.

The Xbox One Slim, as its name implies, is stated to be a smaller version of the regular Xbox One Slim and may be just as powerful as the regular version. However, it is expected to have smaller hard drive space and a slimmer, newly designed controller. Due to these changes, the Xbox One Slim may have a significantly lower price than the regular unit.

According to a report from Thurrott, Microsoft is indeed going to be announcing new hardware during E3, although there are no confirmations if this is the Xbox One Slim, a more powerful Xbox One, or a different type of device entirely.

However, the report states that its source has not confirmed that this is indeed going to be the main focus of Microsoft's E3 presentation. It is stated that the company may focus on the proposed cross-platform gaming possibilities between the Xbox One and PC.

There are also rumors of the Xbox One Slim being Microsoft's answer to the Playstation 4.5 aka the Playstation Neo, an updated version of the PS4 that has higher specs, making it possible to run games at a smoother framerate and at 4K resolutions.

It is important to note that Microsoft has not yet confirmed or denied any of the rumors reported. This means the information should still be taken as pure speculation unless proven otherwise.
