Fans can add at least three new games on their list of backwards-compatible titles for the Xbox One as Microsoft unlocks new titles for the console's feature.

Microsoft's Major Nelson announced that at least three new games will be added to the growing list of backwards-compatible games for the Xbox One. The new games are already included in the library, so players can already download "Aqua," "Anomaly Warzone Earth," and "Lazy Raiders." The three new additions are the first batch for the month, although Microsoft has already changed the schedule for the roll-out. Originally, games bound for the backwards-compatibility feature were released for the Xbox One monthly. However, earlier in the year, Microsoft made some changes in the schedule. Now, games are added to the backwards compatibility list as soon as they are available.

Meanwhile, some observers are saying that other games will be added soon. According to Express, Amazon has already started listing digital codes for other classic titles on the Xbox 360, so it may follow that these games will also be made available for the Xbox One soon. The industry follower said that to date, digital codes are already available for "Skate 2," "Fable Anniversary," and "Halo 3 ODST: Campaign Edition."

While Microsoft has yet to confirm if the titles are bound for the Xbox One feature, classic titles from the "Halo" and "Skate" franchises have long been rumored to be coming for the current-gen console. Other triple-A titles are already confirmed for backwards compatibility, like the "Bioshock" set of games and other titles from the "Call of Duty" franchise. Recently, the original "Black Ops" title from the series had been added to the list, so fans are eager to see which major classics will also make the cut and be added to the more than 190 games in the list.
