Xbox Games with Gold January 2015: Free games wish list for the new year

"SSX," the 2012 snowboarding game from EA Sports, is taking over the latter half of the month for Xbox Games with Gold free games. Interestingly, members now know one of the free games the month of February will bring to them — the chaotic 8-player eSport ball game called "#IDARB." The only thing that is left is the set of complimentary games Microsoft will put forward in January 2015. With details still unstated, gamers have created a list to help the company in figuring out the next titles to offer.

Latinos Post believes that a free download of 4A Games title "Metro 2033" will help subscribers start the new year of gaming right. The first-person shooter post-apocalyptic game will take players to Moscow, where people live their lives underground, and danger comes in the form of menacing mutants.

Latino Post, on the other hand, believes that "Max: The Curse of Brotherhood" will be one of Microsoft's New Year gifts. The 2.5D side-scrolling platform video game developed by Press Play will have players assume the role of Max, who is on a dangerous mission traversing big caves, deserts and forests to get his abducted brother back.

On the other hand, many have their fingers crossed that Microsoft will give out "Far Cry 3" for free in January. Ubisoft Montreal's open-world shooter game follows Jason Brody, who takes on the task of fighting off pirates that govern the Rook Islands, a strange archipelago where he is trapped.

However, games like "Moto Madness" and "Moto X Madness" are also believed to come to Xbox Games with Gold soon, to cater to driving gamers out there. These fun motocross titles require players to pull off near-perfect to faultless tricks. The 2014 racing video game "Forza Motorsport 5," which was developed by Turn 10 Studios, is the game for those who would like hosts of awesome cars to drive.

Meanwhile, Infinity Ward's "Call of Duty: Ghosts" is always part of the wish list. Players will assume a position in the U.S. Special Operations who will ploy the plans of their former leader and now brainwashed Gabriel Rorke.

Lastly, "Tomb Raider," an action adventure game by Crystal Dynamics, may also make it to the package. With British archaeologist Lara Croft at the helm, unearthing the mysteries of the ancient will be enjoyable to do for free.
