There have been a lot of rumors about a feud between "Fast and Furious" co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and it will reportedly be settled in the WWE ring at Wrestlemania 33.

A few weeks back, Johnson called out a co-star for being a "candy a--." He did not drop a name, but it was eventually reported that Diesel was the one he was referring to.

The filming for "Fast and Furious 8" ended, but the rivalry did not as The Rock left out Diesel's name in from the list of people he thanked after the production.

It was reported that the actors made an attempt to sort it out, but still did not come to terms. What Culture points out that the feud is made a little too public, which some fans thought was a bit odd.

It turns out that it was exposed for the world to see for a reason. An insider that spoke to Life and Style Magazine claims that this feud was being set up to culminate in a big match for Wrestlemania 33, which will also serve as a major marketing stint for "Fast and Furious 8."

"The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8," the insider said.

It has been a while since The Rock set foot in the WWE ring and he is sorely missed. However, fans were hoping that should he come back, Batista will be the man he will face.

Diesel, on the other hand, does not have wrestling experience, but will certainly be a massive draw. He can definitely match Johnson in terms of muscle, but technically as a wrestler, he might not be ready.

For now, however, a Wrestlemania 33 match is still mere speculation and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
