This Sunday is going to be a big day for WWE fans. The next pay-per-view event, WWE Battleground 2016, is scheduled to take place at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on the 24^th of July. Sportsblog reminds us that this pay-per-view battle is one we shouldn't miss, considering how the wrestling champions may not turn rivals again until the next WWE Draft.

One of the most anticipated face-offs in the upcoming Battleground 2016 is the Triple Threat Match. The match will see Dean Ambrose, who currently holds the title, defend it against champions Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. International Business Times suggests that the outcome of this much-awaited match may result in two of the idols winning the belt. However, if bets had to be placed on only one of the three, Seth Rollins has the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Randy Orton will be returning to the stage. This time around, he is supposedly all set to introduce himself as Babyface. The segment where he is set to make his return after his shoulder injury will most probably double up as a promotional piece for his upcoming battle against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Other matches on the cards include Zack Ryder vs. Rusev, where the latter is more likely to win, and Becky Lynch vs. Natalya, in which Lynch seems to have the upper hand. In the Darren Young vs. The Miz contest, predictions state that the intercontinental champion is expected to beat Young in the ring. Also on the list is a match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, both of whom were drafted to feature on Raw. Between the two of them, Owens has overshadowed Zayn, and it is unlikely that things will change in Battleground 2016.

Also set to appear in the ring and battle it out are Charlotte and Dana Brooke, who will team up against Sasha Banks and her unknown partner. Speculations advocate that Nia Jax may turn up as this mystery partner.
