WWE 2K15 roster update; John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Cesaro, and Sheamus to attend announcement event

IGN has given a rundown of reasons why WWE 2K15 is probably the most exciting thing that will happen in the world of sports gaming next year. For one, the MyCareer mode of NBA 2K14 is going to be adapted for the WWE 2K15, and the characters will all become much more realistic not only visually but also in terms of the voice over and their movements.

Even John Cena has tweeted his positive reaction about this: Normally "#YouCantSeeMe, but here's a look at yours truly in @wwegames#WWE2K15! Stay tuned to @IGN for more info. pic.twitter.com/ipD3rWyVYH"

Another exciting thing is the fact that 2K15 will be a whole lot better than the campaign mode of 2K14. 2K15 will have a more up-close-and-personal approach to the story than just the broad historicizing of 2K14 of all the 30 years of wrestlemania.

IGN explains: "2K Showcase will be broken up into two episodes, each one focusing in tightly on an epic rivalry from the WWE's past. Think of them as mini-documentaries of a sort. Could it be Rock vs Austin? Undertaker vs Kane? ...If the excellent 30 Years of Wrestlemania was any indication, though, the authenticity of the presentation will make these rivalries a treat to play through."

So aside from John Cena, just which famous personalities are going to make this game even more exciting, anyway? Lords of Pain has identified the following big names to be a part of this excitement: Shawn Michaels, Darren Young, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sting and Retro Sting. And many more are expected to be added.

For the big reveal of the 2K15 and its complete roster, it has been announced that no other than Stone Cold Steve Austin himself will host the event on August 16 at the Club Nokia LA, and it will attended by Cesaro, Sheamus, Roman Reigns, John Cena and Hulk Hogan.

The game will be released on Oct. 28 in North American and on Oct. 31 in Europe for PS4, PS3, XboxOne, and Xbox 360.
