The stars from the reality TV show Duck Dynasty Willie and Korie Robertson appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently, and the couple talked about their upcoming Duck Commander Musical which will be held at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on April 15, 2015, with previews on April 8.

The musical will be based on the Robertson family's 2012 book called The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family, and Ducks Built a Dynasty.

"We've been working on it for, like, two years. And so to watch it now actually, they've hit the stage for the final rehearsals - in a couple of weeks it's opening - it's strange. To think of where we've come from to now have a musical about our lives, it's weird," said Willie.

He added that he is even the musical's hair and dialect coach. Willie said that the actor who plays him in the musical Ben Thompson is actually from New York, so he had a lot to learn about the unique Duck Dynasty lingo.

Other actors and actresses in the musical are Mimi Bessette who will play Miss Kay, Jesse Lenat as Uncle Si, Ginna Claire Mason as Korie, Tad Wilson as Phil, Russell Arden Koplin as Missy, Mary Little as Jessica, Tommy McDowell as Jase, Matt Stokes as Alan, Haley Swindal as Lisa, and Josh Tolle as Jep.

The Duck Commander Musical will feature new music and lyrics by Robert and Steven Morris as well as Joe Shane. Director and choreography is handled by Jeff Calhoun.

Korie earlier said that the musical will be all about the "American dream," and guarantees that audiences young and old will have a lot of fun watching it.

"It's gonna be cool and it'll be another play that people can take their kids to," she told Fox News. "We love to go to musicals when we go to New York...We're excited!"
