The Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting are thrilled for Josiah, 18 after he entered into a courtship with 17-year-old Marjorie Jackson, and now the youngsters' parents are weighing in on their relationship.

Josiah's parents Jim Bob and Michelle have nothing but good things to say about their son's new girlfriend, who is a devout Christian with many talents. Marjorie is a gifted pianist and actress, can speak two languages, and has even written a book inspiring young girls to read the Bible.

"She is such an incredible young lady," Michelle told PEOPLE. "Those firstborns tend to be go-getters, and that is definitely the case. She has such a fervency and will make such a difference in the world. She has so many gifts and talents and has such a humble spirit."

Jim Bob also approves of Josiah's choice, saying: "I have always told my sons, if they find someone like their mother, snap them up."

And he does not think that Josiah and Marjorie are too young to enjoy a courtship relationship, adding that what really matters is the couple both have the right focus on the Lord.

Marjorie's parents Greg and Analucia agree with Jim Bob and Michelle, and they also offered a lot of kind words for their daughter's boyfriend.

"Of course, we think Marjorie is an incredible young lady and we think very highly of Josiah," Greg said. "And not just because of his family, but he personally shows a lot of character, and he is very thoughtful, he is very respectful, he chose a love for the Lord that we share, so we have a similar heart there, but he has a desire to do things right. He treats Marjorie with a lot of respect in the way he talks to her and treats her."

They are pretty impressed with the young couple's level of maturity. "They love God, they love their families and thrive around people and both make other people feel special. They like to laugh, they are always laughing," commented Analucia.
