After Bea's (Danielle Cormack) death at the end of season 4, "Wentworth" fans are now wondering what's next for Allie (Kate Jenkinson) when the Australian prison drama series returns for season 5.

Fans were thrilled to see the Wentworth prison top dog and the new inmate make their relationship public at the penultimate episode of the previous season. But their intimate relationship briefly ended after Joan Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) murdered Bea in the season finale.

While the plot for season 5 is still unrevealed, it can be speculated that Allie will be deeply devastated with Bea's death. Will this cause her to return to her drug dependency problem that Bea tried to rescue her from?

On the other hand, Bea's death means that the position of the top dog inside the Wentworth prison is now vacant. This could mean that one of the current inmates could try to snag the coveted position in the fifth season of the series.

Since Ferguson was the one who killed the previous top dog, it could be assumed that all the other inmates will begin to fear her presence. This could make her take Bea's throne. But it does not mean that all the other inmates will start respecting her just like how they respect Bea.

Allie could also be a candidate for the next top dog since she was the one closest to Bea. However, her unstable condition because of her drug abuse problems will make it hard for her to rule the women behind bars.

Other reports claimed that Kaz Proctor (Tammy Macintosh) could pose a threat to Ferguson if Bea's killer will attempt to snag Bea's vacant position. She could mimic Bea's leadership style since she is known for her strong fascination to the late top dog.

SoHo is expected to reveal more details about "Wentworth" season 5 as well as its premiere date in the coming days.
