While fans eagerly wait for expansion content for the story of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," developer Naughty Dog has rolled out a new DLC and patch update for its multiplayer mode.

In an announcement posted on the U.S. PlayStation Blog, it is revealed that the "Lost Treasures" DLC has gone live for the game, as well as the new patch 1.08 update. The new "Lost Treasures" DLC is the first post-launch content drop for the multiplayer mode of "Uncharted 4," so Naughty Dog has created a large collection of in-game content bonuses for multiplayer fans.

The new DLC has a new map called the Sunken Ruins. Though some locations are already seen in the single-player campaign, the new area is litter with new locations such as tight corners and water flank routes. There are also a number of new gameplay items, such as a collection of weapons, boosters, and mystical items.

Meanwhile, aside from the new expansion content, the new update also brings a new patch to "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Patch 1.08 is now live, and brings a number of improvements and tweaks in the system and gameplay for the title. Most noted on the changes is introducing a new Level System for the multiplayer mode. Now, hardcore fans will reach veteran status by leveling up, and each levels will bring some new game items from Relics or Chest rewards for each level up. The maximum level for the new system is level 70, and players will get a unique Vanity item every five levels.

With the new DLC already out for the multiplayer, some fans are wondering when Naughty Dog will release an expansion for the single-player campaign. Reportedly, the developer has already hinted on its development. It seems that while the studio is thinking of having an expansion pack for "Uncharted 4" single-player missions, it will be a while before fans can see it, with the earliest possible roll-out starting in early 2017.
