Toronto Blue Jays vs Texas Rangers live stream (TBS): Watch MLB 2016 Playoffs ALDS Game 2 baseball online

The Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers will clash on Friday in Game 2 of their Division Series with the Rangers looking to get back into the series and claim a win that would bring them back on par at 1-1. The game has a scheduled start time of 1.08 p.m. ET and takes place at Globe Life Park in Texas. The game can be watched on TV on the TBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

Stepping to the mound for the Blue Jays today will be J.A. Happ who had a season record of 20-4 with a 3.18 ERA, making him just one of three 20-game winners in the MLB this season. This will be just his second postseason start, with his previous Playoffs start coming in 2009.

Happ comes into the game in excellent form, having posted a 2.35 ERA across his last five starts. With him at the helm, the Blue Jays will be confident they have a fantastic chance to make it 2-0 tonight.

Meanwhile for the Rangers, Yu Darvish will be the starting pitcher. He will be making just his second career Playoffs start today, having had a 7-5 season with a 3.41 ERA.

Darvish allowed three runs across 6 2/3 innings in a 2012 Wild Card game against the O's - a game he lost 5-1.

At home this season he has been in better form, going 6-2 with a 4.26 ERA in 10 home starts. He also has a positive record against the Blue Jays, going 3-2 with a 2.45 ERA in seven starts against Toronto.

The Rangers must show up and perform today or their postseason could come to a very premature end. In Game 1 they were demolished 10-1 and looked way out of the game. Even though of course there is still a long way to go before this series is decided, if J.A. Happ can continue his amazing regular season form and make it 2-0 to the Blue Jays, then the Rangers would have a mountain to climb to steal this best of five series back.

But both teams know even if things go to 2-0 that doesn't mean things are over by any means. Last year in the ALDS these two teams met, with the Rangers going 2-0 up before capitulating over the next three games to lose out 3-2 and allow the Blue Jays to move on to the AL Championship Series.
