'Tom Clancy's The Division' release date; Open world experience offered in new game

If there's one game that gamers around the world are so excited about, it's got to be "Tom Clancy's The Division."

Executive producer of "Tom Clancy's The Division" Fredrik Rundqvist shared a couple of information about the upcoming game in Gamescom. For one, the release date of the game is set in 2015, and it will be exclusive to PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows PCs only.

In the interview, Rundqvist said, "It's an open world RPG game that takes place in New York City, that's been ravaged by a pandemic. The city has almost been lost to the chaos, to disaster, to lawless areas, with all these dangerous factions running around – and your job as an agent of the Division is to take that back."

Previous reports about the game revealed that "The Division" will have a multiplayer feature. But of course, players can still roam around the open world in solo mode.

"We have a very lively and dynamic world," Rundqvist told IGN. "You need a world that is interesting in itself even when the player is not doing anything. Dynamic climatology We, day-night, wildlife and civilians complete cycle, and different archetypes within each faction. All these systems interact with each other and react accordingly."

What possibly inspired Rundqvist and his team in making "Tom Clancy's The Division?" Surprisingly, it's Will Smith's movie "I Am Legend" that really made an impact with the team. Runqvist shared that he and his team watched the movie "more than 10 times."

As "I Am Legend" is, in itself, an awesome movie that is both thrilling and exciting.  It is certain, therefore, that "Tom Clancy's The Division" will be much more awesome.
