Being a pop star has its own pros and cons, and for Christian singer Justin Bieber, one of the cons has got to be the misconception some people form about him.

Even his love life has come under intense public scrutiny, with many people dishing out their own theories as to why and how he broke up with fellow singer and girlfriend Selena Gomez.

During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Bieber decided to reveal some intimate details about himself as well as his thoughts on women.

According to the Canadian singer, to him the sexiest thing about a woman is not any part of her body but rather her attitude. Still, that belief does not stop Bieber from admiring beautiful women, especially when they wear booty shorts. On the flip side, Bieber hates it when girls wear gladiator sandals, since he dislikes how it looks.

It has been quite a while since Bieber last produced a song, but his latest effort, "What Do U Mean," is due out in a couple of days, and it talks about his limited understanding of women. "They are complicated," he admitted.

During an interview on the radio show "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," Bieber said girls " say something and they mean something else. So... what do you mean? I don't really know, that's why I'm asking."

He added that his new song is "fun and summery," and it is very similar to his last hit single "Where Are U Now," so he has no doubt that fans would end up loving it. "It's really uplifting, clear, poppy, but cool," Bieber said.

He said he invested a lot of time and energy on his new song, so he hopes people would appreciate it just as much as he does. "I want people to love it. I want to inspire people. Sometimes I wonder, 'Is this good enough? Is this the direction I want to go?'" he said.
