'Thor 3' movie spoilers: Loki will die, Tom Hiddleston will be busy with new movie franchise

"Thor" has been a very successful movie franchise for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And while Chris Hemsworth (Thor) has been doing a great job at keeping the character interesting for everyone, his archrival is noteworthy, too.

Loki, Thor's half-brother and his archenemy, has made a name for himself as well. In fact, after the first installment was released, fans coouldn't help but fall in love with Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Fans were immediately split between Thor and Loki, which was a delightful surprise.

Although "Thor" fans would love to keep the story going and going, unfortunately, it may already end by "Thor 3." According to reports, Hiddleston may be exiting the movie franchise, with Loki getting killed off by the third installment.

According to Cinema Blend, "The part is the biggest that Hiddleston has landed since he was first tapped as Loki, and while we don't want to count our chickens before they hatch, there is some pretty obvious franchise potential to be mined here. As much fun as the actor has playing Loki, I don't think many of us would be surprised if he decided to move on and pursue something bigger for himself."

Writer Eric Eisenberg was referring to "Skull Island," the movie franchise that Hiddleston is ready to save. This movie is part of the "King Kong" franchise, and with Hiddleston's star power, he can actually be the man to do it, reports Cinema Blend.

With these hints pointing to HIddleston's exit, there's a theory on how Loki will be killed in "Thor 3." Movie Pilot based it on the comics where Thor rips off Loki's head. This happened in the "Ragnarok" saga, which, according to reports, is what "Thor 3 will be about." However, it's not just Thor who would do it — it would be his most powerful incarnation, the Rune King Thor.

In related news, there's also speculation that Hemsworth may no longer be in "Avengers 3" despite being in "Thor 3." Badass Digest cited his contract as the reason.
