The characters of "The Young and The Restless" will have a busy holiday, so it seems like Genoa City won't take a break because of all the drama.

Here is what's going down this week from Dec. 15 to 19 on "Y&R," according to Soap Central: 

Chelsea and Adam Newman 

Adam Newman finally returns to Genoa City and for those who are wondering when he will see Chelsea and his son Connor, the answer is this week. Chelsea bumps into Adam and she is with Connor. According to spoilers, Chelsea recognizes Adam. And just to add some intensity to the storyline, Adam gets into a conversation with Victor Newman in an elevator. 

Dylan, Avery and Joe 

Dylan and Avery make an announcement about their engagement and Joe does not like this at all. Joe is desperate and begs Avery to stop the engagement and not marry Dylan. At the same time, Joe finally opens up to Avery about his real feelings and says that he is really not over her yet. Meanwhile, Dylan talks to Sharon and tells her not to give up her career in Jabot. 

Billy and Chelsea 

Billy talks with Jill and she tells him that he belongs with Victoria. It has yet to be seen how Billy will react to it. Elsewhere, Chelsea and Victoria make peace. 

Michael and Lauren 

Last week, Michael finally told Lauren about his sickness. He was worried about how Lauren would take the news. This week, Lauren's reaction is seen. 

Other Spoilers 

Neil makes an important decision and this decision will affect his family. Sharon and Nick face the aftermath of the custody battle.

According to We Love Soaps, Phyllis discovers new information and Kelly lashes out on Jack. Nick and Paul try to make Faith feel better and Mariah talks with Sharon.
