"The Vampire Diaries" will be skipping the next two weeks for a much-needed hiatus but it is guaranteed to deliver an eventful episode upon its return. 

The upcoming installment titled "I Could Never Love Like That" will follow the sad and fatal repercussions of Stefan's and Caroline's decision to rid themselves of their humanity. The pair is leaving the Whitmore grounds red as they satisfy their rather insatiable thirst to kill. And now it is up to Damon to stop the town from becoming a scene of carnage. Together with his mother Jo, Damon devises a "risky" plan. 

However, Damon does not want Elena to get things wrong that he is giving his mother a chance. In the promo for the episode, Damon makes it clear to her that she is only a "tool" to get Stefan out of the dark. 

Speaking of Jo, Elena discovers that the university doctor is pregnant as she goes on to help her tend the latest and ill-fated people on the receiving end of the raging homicidal couple's horrendous murder spree. Her discovery leads the vampire to have another look at her own life. 

Elsewhere, Sarah outmaneuvers Enzo, who seems to know nothing about the complete change in the game he is playing. With the roguish vampire helplessly pinned down, Enzo is coerced into enlightening Sarah about his "tragic past." Will this change things between the two antagonizing vampires? 

Last of all, what Tyler and Matt think as a karoke party where they can go crazy and belt out a tune at the same time takes a dark turn. Scull Bar is the place the two will encounter unforeseen danger, and it will involve Stefan and Caroline who will rest their fate on a coin toss. 

Episode 18 of "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 will be aired on April 16.
