The penultimate episode of "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" promises to feature more racial slurs before the epic season finale which will remind viewers of the outcome of the highly publicized murder case against former NFL superstar O.J. Simpson.

In the episode, titled "Manna from Heaven," Simpson's defense lawyers Johnnie Cochran (Courtney B. Vance) and F. Lee Bailey (Nathan Lane) will travel to the south to acquire the incriminating tape recordings of Detective Mark Fuhrman using racial epithet toward African-Americans. The lawyers know that these tapes will help their client get off the hook from the two counts of murder filed against him for the death of his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman.

The tapes played a very important role in the trial because it proved that Fuhrman lied under oath when he said that he did not use racial language during his investigation into the Simpson-Goldman murder case.

Meanwhile, Cuba Gooding Jr. admitted to Steve Harvey that he broke down after a particular scene in the series, where he portrays the role of O.J. Simpson.

"As I did this research, specifically one scene in particular: when we shot the scene at the funeral when O.J. kisses Nicole [Brown Simpson]'s corpse," Gooding told Harvey on his talk show. "I remember we broke for lunch and I went into my trailer and I couldn't stop weeping. I literally had a nervous breakdown and I said I think I finally grieved for that family, I think it hit me that both those families were shattered and I just felt extreme guilt."

The actor also talked about his reaction during the time when Simpson's verdict was read. According to Gooding, he was happy when Simpson was found not guilty even if there could be a possibility that the football star really committed the murders because he also experienced being harassed by the LAPD because of his race.

"The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" penultimate episode airs Tuesday, March 29, on FX.
