The fourth season of the supernatural drama "The Originals" is shaping up to be more and more exciting as an intriguing new character is set to be introduced when the show returns with new episodes.

According to a report by Deadline.com, actress Christina Marie Moses has been tapped to join "The Originals" Season 4 to portray a new werewolf character named Keelin.

Keelin was described in the report as "a smart, strong resourceful emergency room doctor – and the last living werewolf of her line."

Moses' character is also reportedly "bisexual, warm and unguarded by nature." The new werewolf in the show also seem to have a dark, emotional past, being forced into hiding after her entire family was hunted to extinction.

As a result, Keelin finds it difficult to get close to anyone, and lives in fear because she might be discovered by the wrong people. Ultimately, her life will intersect with the lives of the Mikaelsons, the show's main protagonists.

Moses can now be seen in The CW's limited series Containment, and has recently finished as guest leads on Rosewood and Roadies. She also has a lead role in indie How We Met.

While "The Originals" will be saying hello to a new werewolf character, can it be also saying hello again to a familiar face in its upcoming fourth season. Danielle Campbell, who played the role of the character Davina killed in the last season, said this is possible.

"It's hard to say for sure," Campbell told TV Line. "A lot of it depends on story arcs and availability down the line, but I think it's going to be up in the air. [The producers and writers are] still going to be figuring out the next storylines once they return for the next season, so it hinges on what'll happen a few months from now. But never say never!"
