In less than two months, fans will watch the final season of HBO's "The Newsroom." It was given six episodes to wrap up the story. However, throughout the months of waiting, there's not much spoilers going around about the new season. There's one about Kat Dennings, and this one came from Aaron Sorkin himself.

The actress from "Thor" and "2 Broke Girls" will join the cast of "The Newsroom" for season 3. Show creator Sorkin told Entertainment Weekly "...We meet Reese's father's children by his next wife so we meet his half-brother and his half-sister is Kat Dennings. And they own a 45-percent share of the controlling stock in the company and that begins a story rolling of a hostile takeover of AWN."

Cartermatt.com says that it can be refreshing to see Dennings out of her usual element, the goofy and outrageous Max from "2 Broke Girls." Here, she will be seen in a more dramatic light.

Also, there's the "Hallie drama" because her inappropriate tweet causes trouble. She will be part of a battle between journalistic ethics and the government.

Further, Sorkin spilled the beans about the whistleblower, saying, "Our people have a story that was given to them by a government whistleblower and the Justice Department wants the name of their source and they won't give it up. So we see how far they're willing to go for that."

Zap2it reports that a wedding might just happen between Will, played by Jeff Daniels, and Mac, played by Emily Mortimer. They were engaged in the season 2 finale. Well, Sorkin did say, "There's gonna have to be a wedding." But, this wedding is something you won't expect to see on TV. Sorkin and his team is making it happen.

Catch all the episodes for the final season of "The Newsroom" on HBO when it returns on Nov. 9.
