Not much is known about "The Incredibles 2" although director Brad Bird has already said that development for the highly-anticipated sequel has long commenced. But with the movie seeing the light of day only after four years, details remain understandably scarce.

This is where rumor mills come in as they fill in the gaps on plot questions about the movie. Word on the street is that there will be greater focus on Jack-Jack, who will be a big boy when the sequel opens. Apparently, there will be a five-year time-jump in the film so the youngest Incredible should be six years old by then.

It is being said that at some point in "The Incredibles 2," the youngster will be working for a villain after being tricked by this baddie. In the first movie released in 2004, it was shown how powerful Jack-Jack can be. With his help, Syndrome was defeated and Jack-Jack did not even know how to walk yet.

As he grows up and learns more about his blistering superpowers, he will reportedly find himself teaming up with the new yet-to-be-named bad guy, which should make for a thrilling story.

It is also being said that Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl will quit their superhero careers and live full-time as their alter egos Bob and Helen Parr. Reports suggest that the crime-fighting duties will be on their kids Violet, Rush and Jack-Jack come "The Incredibles 2."

At the moment, it is being said that Bird and his team are already working on the much-awaited sequel. Months back, Bird confirmed that he is close to completing the script while 3d elements manager Josh Hollander was quoted as saying that his department has already started work for the follow-up too

Nonetheless, fans will still have to wait until June 2019 to see "The Incredibles 2" in theaters. The original should be 15 years old by that time and fans who saw the first film in the silver screen will practically be grown-ups at that point as well.
