While players are keen to experience the current installment in Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls" franchise, the rebranded "Tamriel Unlimited" is an MMO title and not connected to the franchise's overall plot. This leads hardcore fans to speculate on when the publisher will be revealing information on the much-awaited but still unconfirmed "The Elder Scrolls VI."

Players may not have that long to wait as rumors indicate this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo to finally provide some answers regarding the upcoming "Skyrim" sequel.

According to NeuroGadget, some observers believe that with "Fallout 4" already finished, Bethesda can finally focus on its other big-name franchises and start working on the next "The Elder Scrolls." Reportedly, hardcore fans are in agreement that details about "The Elder Scrolls VI' will start to float online this year, possibly starting with the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June.

While the E3 is an annual event for anything under the tech industry, the conference has been predominantly saturated with major announcements and launches from the gaming industry, and this year's E3 is shaping up to be another major gaming event.

Meanwhile, while Bethesda remains silent on when "The Elder Scrolls VI" will release, there is no question on fans' minds about its upcoming roll-out. Express UK mentioned that even Pete Hines, vice president at Bethesda, is looking forward to another "The Elder Scrolls" sequel. However, Bethesda will first make sure that the upcoming title is polished and fine-tuned before rolling it out.

Hines said, "We're not the sort of publisher that focuses on 'what's our 25 titles for 2015'. We do smaller stuff, we don't publish to scale, we try to publish to quality."
