Fans are expecting that "The Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim 2" could be in their hands in the near future. Sadly, it is not the picture right now. The still-unannounced game may still be years away, estimated to be ready by 2019.

"The Elder Scroll" gaming community is looking forward to hearing some good news at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3 2016, which will happen on June 14 to 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Many game publishers, studios and tech companies take this opportunity to keep their respective fans updated and informed about their products.

Bethesda, the company behind "The Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout" series initially planned not to take part in the upcoming E3 event, but has changed its mind and will have a press event scheduled at 7 p.m. PT on June 12, and this is what fans are looking forward to.

There is a possibility that the sixth installment of the game may be revealed this year, but, the company is still active with its "Fallout 4" game, as a few more DLC packs are planned for the game. Additionally, the company is also scheduled to release "The Elder Scroll: Legends," a collectible card video game, this year. The card game will directly compete with Blizzard's "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft."

With this in mind, they may impart info about the "Skyrim 2" during the upcoming event, but many are speculating that the the company will discuss more about their upcoming "The Elder Scroll: Legends."

GameNGuide reported that fans got excited when Bethesda posted a job opening for a character artist who is familiar to role-playing games similar to "The Elder Scrolls." Fans immediately speculated that the their much-awaited game is currently in production and will be available soon.

The report added that fans are expecting that "The Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim 2" will take place in Valenwood, Black Marsh (Argonia) and Elsweyr.
