Bethesda will now be shifting its resources to the development of other projects, like "The Elder Scrolls 6." The game has been confirmed to be in development, but it will still take a few more years before it gets released.

Fans of the highly successful action role-playing game were not disappointed during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016. Game enthusiasts were able to learn firsthand that the company will be focusing now on the next installment of "The Elder Scrolls" series now that "Fallout 4" is complete. Its last expansion pack was also announced during the event.

Furthermore, fans should also be aware that the upcoming game is years away. This is according to Pete Hines, Bethesda's vice president of Public Relations and Marketing, who mentioned, "you're not getting an Elder Scrolls 6 for many years," IGN reported.

"The Elder Scrolls 6," is not at the top of the list of projects being worked on by the studio. Two other large ones are also in the development process, as mentioned by Bethesda's studio head Todd Howard in another report. This was also relayed by Hines, who said, "he (Howard) said for sure that he's got two other projects. I'm just making sure folks understand, like, that doesn't mean he's going to spit out a DLC and another DLC and we're head faking. Like, I need folks to understand that we're talking about big games like a Skyrim and a Fallout 4 and a Fallout 3 and those don't just happen."

Gaming Bolt estimated  the earliest that fans can expect the game is 2019, that is if the studio starts to work on it by next year.

No other information is available with regard to the two games that Hines and Howard had mentioned before. But fans can expect that a remastered version of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" will be released on Oct. 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The news was also revealed during the E3 2016.
