"19 Kids & Counting" castmember Jinger Duggar celebrated her 21st birthday on Sunday, and received messages of love and congratulations from her parents and many siblings.

Older sister Jessa Seewald, mum Michelle, and others in the brood wished Jinger a happy birthday on their social media accounts.

"Happy golden birthday to my sweet sister Jinger!" Jessa, 22, wrote. "I love you so much!" The new bride shared a photo of her sister smiling warmly while wearing a red cardigan and black beret.

On Facebook, the Duggar family posted a photo of Michelle and Jinger with the birthday girl holding a sign that read: "Happy 21st Birthday Jinger, We love you!"

The reality stars also thanked God for Jinger's birth 21 years ago.

"Today, December 21st is Jinger's 21st birthday," the caption read. "We are so thankful for her love for Jesus and her sweet personality. She is precious to us in every way!"

The Duggars' Instagram account featured a baby picture of their sixth-born child wearing an adorable white dress.

"Cute little Jinger!" they exclaimed. "Can't believe she's all grown up... Today we're celebrating her 21st birthday! Such a beautiful young lady-- inside and out!"

Although Jinger is now old enough to drink alcohol legally, the family do not allow alcohol consumption at any age. Earlier this year, Jessa and Jill admitted to accidentally drinking alcohol at a party, and called the taste "disgusting."

"We've never like intentionally been to a party where we know there's going to be a lot of drinking," Jill told Cosmopolitan. "I've been on the fire department for a few years, and there's people, young people, 18-year-old girls who have died of an OD. You see the effects, and it really makes you stop and think of the consequences for some of these actions."
