ABC has named Andi Dorfman as the new 2014 Bachelorette.

The new Bachelorette was announced last night after the season finale of The Bachelor starring Juan Pablo Galavis. After the announcement, Dorfman tweeted: "Am I dreaming?!? Insanely grateful, happy and most of all ready to find love!!! #cloudnine"

Dorfman told ABC: "I'm speechless. It's so surreal. I went on 'The Bachelor' to find my husband and to find the love of my life. It definitely gets lonely being single... I'm just looking to find that great love."

The 26-year-old, who is an assistant district attorney from Atlanta, was among the contestants who took part in The Bachelor season 18 in an attempt to find love with Juan Pablo. However, she broke up with The Bachelor after spending a night at the fantasy suite.

The Bachelor season 18 finale aired last night with Juan Pablo Galavis, who gave the final rose to Nikki Ferrel but did not propose to her. He told her that he "liked her a lot" but said, "I have a ring here in my pocket and I'm not going to use it." He continued, "I'm not 100% sure I want to propose to you, but at the same time I'm 100% sure I don't want to let you go."

Clare Crawley, who was one of the final two contestants, was not chosen, but she spoke her mind clearly to Juan Pablo in the season finale episode. She revealed that he said some shocking words to her during their last date. "What I thought was going to be sweet, kind, loving words was not what came out of his mouth. And I was shocked. He chose to tell me something that no woman wants to hear. It was insulting. It was offensive and it just made me feel awful."

Crawley also told Juan Pablo: "I would never want my children having a father like you."

"The Bachelorette" will premiere Monday, May 19 at  9:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
