Christian country crooner Carrie Underwood has just released the first photo of her newborn son Isaiah Michael Fisher, and she did it in the most adorable way possible.

She shared the photo of her son with National Hockey League (NHL) player Mike Fisher on her Instagram account (@carrieunderwood). In it, Isaiah is wrapped in a blanket and the baby's eyes are closed. He had one hand up on his face while the other is cradling a Nashville Predators hockey stick.

"The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up!" Underwood captioned the photo.

The singer earlier told PEOPLE that her baby is "such a miracle and such a beautiful thing." Meanwhile, her husband said that "there's nothing better than being a dad."

"Obviously the important thing is everyone is feeling good and mom's feeling good. We're definitely blessed to have him join us in our lives. There's no better feeling," Fisher told the NHL. "It's easier to put a smile on your face when you mention him after a bad game so that puts things in perspective."

The first photo the couple released of their son Isaiah was actually just a shot of his hand. "Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!" wrote Underwood.

The first-time mum has said that the whole process of pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but she has admitted that she is eager to immediately trim down after giving birth. "I'm looking forward to reclaiming my body," she said. "I've been saying it's been on loan for the past many months. I'm excited to take it back!"

Underwood really has a lot on her plate - aside from juggling her music career and her duties as a mother and a wife, the singer is also busy with the launch of her new fitness clothing line with Dick's Sporting Goods called CALIA by Carrie Underwood.
