One of the most iconic details on The CW's long-running horror fantasy action series "Supernatural" will return, based on an update by Jensen Ackles.

On his Instagram account, the actor who plays the role of Dean Winchester in the series, showed that the 1967 Chevrolet Impala that was fondly called Baby is back on the set of "Supernatural."

This could mean that Baby will once again accompany Dean and his younger brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) in the next big adventure in hunting monsters, ghosts, and other vicious supernatural creatures that are causing destruction in the world.

The Impala was also featured in the live video streaming posted by Ackles and Mischa Collins on the show's official Facebook page. The actors were showing behind-the-scenes looks of the production for the upcoming season when Collins pointed out the sound of the vehicle's engine. Then he realized that he might have dropped a hint at what fans should look forward to on the show.

"I think that might be a spoiler. Over there," the actor said. Ackles chuckled and agreed. "That was probably."

Collins also spoke to Nerdist about the fate of his character, Castiel, when the series returns for season 12.

According to the actor, "Season 12 is actually going to feel like we're getting back to the show's roots. It's going to feel a lot like earlier seasons of the show, which I'm excited about. And the same really goes for my character in particular."

The actor also revealed that he is very excited to see Castiel back in his old form. This could mean that Castiel will once again help the Winchesters defeat the enemies in the upcoming season.

"I'm so excited about that. I'm excited to see it unfold. I have a feeling that the fans won't be disappointed," he added.

"Supernatural" season 12 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 13.
