'Supernatural' season 10 spoilers: Series' 200th episode will be a musical

The 200th episode of the CW series "Supernatural" will be a musical.

In an interview with E! News, the show's executive producer Jeremy Carver revealed that the upcoming 200th episode will have a musical touch.

"I think it'll be one of the more amusing and engaging episodes we've done in a while," Carver said. "We're going pretty meta. I would just describe it as something of a love letter to our fans, and there will be songs."

However, the executive producer said that the episode will feature both original and cover songs.

Carver added that it will be a very fun show and  a celebration for the cast, crew and fans for reaching 200 episodes.

Actor Jared Padalecki, who plays the younger Winchester brother, Sam, said that he is looking forward to the episode. He said that the episode is a way of expressing gratitude to "Supernatural" fans. Padalecki said that the episode will be similar to the series' "The Real Ghostbusters" episode.

"We're not at a convention, but we're at a place where they're doing a play based on the Chuck Shurley books," Padalecki told Zap 2 It. "So not only are these books based on our lives, now people are doing a play based on these books, and someone is haunting it, so we go and try to investigate what's going on at this play."

Meanwhile, Demon Dean is reported to be one of the villains in the upcoming tenth season of the show. Actor Jensen Ackles confessed that the personality of the new Demon Dean will be the exact opposite of the original Dean's character who always put the needs of others before himself. He said that the evil version of himself is despicable and does not care about anyone or anything. Worse is, he loves being that way.

"Supernatural" season 10 will air October 7 on the CW.
