'Super Smash Bros 4' character list, Mii customization and release date

It's a good thing that Nintendo isn't keeping any secrets to fans awaiting the release of "Super Smash Bros 4." The creators behind the game are willingly providing daily updates on what's new. Hence, fans of the game are getting more excited by the day.

The game will be a couple of months away, but starting now, you can already paint a good picture of what the game will offer come October and December. According to Breathecast, there will be nine new characters, namely Pac-man, Greninja, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma, Little Mac, Lady Palutena and Mii Fighters.

Apart from the four new entrants, there's a rumor that there will still be 9 new additions. The unconfirmed list includes Lucas, Solid Snake, Mr. Game & Watch, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, Wario, Meta Knight, Pokemon Trainer, Ice Climbers, Falco, Ness, Mewtwo and R.O.B. Who are you rooting for to make it to the final list?

As for the characters that are surely in the game, there's Mario, Luigi, Link, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Samus, Fox, Pit, Kirby, Olimar, Princess Peach, Zeld, Toon Link, Lucario, Diddy Kong, Charizard, Yoshi, King Dedede, Zero Suit Samus and Shiek.

According to GameNGuide, Link will have an alternate costume, one that looks like his costume in "Skyward Sword." There will also be a new mini-game for the 3DS version, which is the Balloon Fight. Rumor has it that Nabbit will interrupt players when playing the mini-game.

A lot of people are excited with the addition of the Mii Fighters. But there's another good news, the Mii Fighters are customizable. The imported heights of the Miis will dictate whether the character will be a slow or fast one.

Game Informer reports that Masuhiro Sakurai, director of "Super Smash Bros 4" said, "Some of the physical characteristics of Miis get carried over when you use them as Mii Fighters. The smaller ones become speed fighters and the bigger ones are more akin to power fighters." However, customizing their height and weight is only for appearance purposes.

The "Super Smash Bros 4" will be launched in both Wii U and 3DS. The 3DS version will be launched on October 3, while the Wii U version will debut on the holiday season; there's no specific date yet.
