In a surprise expansion from their usual duck callers, the Robertson family of Duck Dynasty fame are set to release a study Bible later this year.
The 'Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible' will be published in October, featuring 52 Bible reading plans put together by Phil and Alan Robertson, who star in the A&E hit show.
The Bible will also include articles on popular topics, as well as "30 days of life-changing testimonials".
The Robertson family are devoted Christians and are well known for their strong faith; even causing some controversy for being uncompromising in their beliefs on camera. Phil was suspended from the show in December last year after making what were considered to be homophobic comments in GQ magazine, but was later reinstated by the network.
Of their latest foray into scripture, Phil has said, "This is just one more way that we can present, as ministers, the message of Jesus to the world around us".
His son, Alan, has also commented, "One of the things Dad and I are excited about for this Bible project, is that it's timeless because it's connected to the Word of God".
"We are honoured and excited to be working with Phil and Al Robertson on this new Bible," Thomas Nelson's Bible Group, which is publishing the Bible, says in a statement.
"The Robertson family's passion for the Word is infectious, and the impact of their ministry is amazing. We see this Bible as being something people can grow with in their own personal walk with God."
Phil Robertson spoke at the 2014 Republican Leadership Conference last week, during which he urged those involved in politics to draw closer to God.
"You want to turn the Republican Party around? Get Godly," he declared.
"You can't be right for America if you're wrong with God."
The 'Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible' is set for release October 28 2014.
