Each year's teaching will stand alone, but at the same time, form part of one journey, with One God as 2006' theme, One People in 2007, and One Hope in 2008.
Spring Harvest will hold their 2006 Easter conference in Skegness (3-23 April) and Minehead (1-16 April) this year, with the first theme One God. The conference is set to attract some 55,000 Christians, to ‘Celebrate the One True God.'
The gathered congregation will examine ‘who He is and what He's like,’ and focus on how people's understanding of God shapes how they live out their faith.
The programmes that the event will offer will be compatible for people from a wide range of church backgrounds and of all ages, including children, teenagers, students, and adults-- the adult programme featuring a choice of styles that can be both interactive and reflective, while the 'Distinctive' programme is specially designed to reach young people.
Week 1 in Skegness (3-8 April), run in collaboration with Keswick Ministries and UCCF, will offer a slightly different emphasis to other Spring Harvest weeks, with a broad-ranging programme focusing on Bible exposition and its application to life. Seminars and optional sessions on a range of issues will give attendees the opportunity to explore and learn something new.
The Bible Readings will be led by prolific author and Senior Pastor of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois, Kent Hughes.
In addition, tailored programmes will be provided for children and young people, plus a special student programme.
