Six people were missing after an apartment building in Norway's western coastal town of Aalesund collapsed on Wednesday, police said.

OSLO - Six people were missing after an apartment building in Norway's western coastal town of Aalesund collapsed on Wednesday, police said.

Media reports said about 20 people lived in the building and that several had been taken to hospital with injuries.

Police declined to speculate on the cause of the collapse.
