The Satanic Temple is giving abortion provider Planned Parenthood assistance in the pro-abortion crusade in the U.S.

The Satanic Temple, which protests Christian influence in government, has staged counter-protests at anti-abortion rallies and filed a lawsuit against Missouri on behalf of one of its members who had to wait 72 hours before getting an abortion because of the state's waiting period law, according to Broadly and Breitbart News.

On its website, the Satanic Temple lists right to accurate medical information and reproductive health issues as part of its campaign.

It is targeting "informed consent" laws in states that require "that women seeking abortions be subjected to state-mandated informational materials that are often false or misleading.

"We believe that personal decisions should be made with reference to only the best available, scientifically valid information," it says.

The group says it provides women who are seeking abortion with a letter that they should give to their doctors saying they are exempted from receiving "informed consent" materials.

The pro forma letter addressed to the doctor states, "As you know, your medical treatment of me requires my informed consent. My informed consent is based solely on scientifically true and accurate information that is relevant to my decisions regarding my health and pregnancy in accordance with my sincerely held religious beliefs."

Satanic Temple also says, "Many states have enacted laws with regards to reproductive rights that create onerous burdens for women by demanding they be subjected to procedures that have no medical purpose."

Meanwhile, a misdemeanor charge of trafficking human organs against David Daleiden of Center for Medical Progress was recently dismissed by a court.

CMP says, "The dismissal of the first indictment today sends a strong message to Planned Parenthood and their political cronies that colluding to suppress the First Amendment rights of citizen journalists will never work."

Pro-life advocates have called for the resignation of California Attorney General Kamala Harris, who ordered a raid of Daleiden's apartment, after it was revealed that she received political donations from Planned Parenthood.
