According to rumors, Samsung is readying a major launch in the upcoming IFA event in September. Reportedly, one of the products will be the company's new wearable, the Samsung Gear S3, with a rotary bezel.

In an exclusive by SamMobile, it is revealed that while much of the design and specs for the follow-up change, there still are familiar features that the upcoming Samsung Gear S3 has gotten from its predecessor. It is confirmed that much like the Gear S2, the upcoming wearable will have a rotary bezel. The industry follower said that since this is a confirmed detail, it can be expected that the upcoming smartwatch will also come out with a round design as well, though it is unclear if Samsung made any changes in the dimensions.

Meanwhile, another confirmed detail is that the Samsung Gear S3 will definitely make it as one of the showcases for Samsung's presentation at the 2016 IFA. The trade event will be held from September 2-7 in Berlin. Since Samsung usually hosts a pre-show event, it is more likely that fans will see the Gear S3 as early as the 1st of September. Should this be the case, it is not the first time that Samsung hosted a pre-IFA event, since the company also unveiled the Gear S2 days ahead of the conference last year.

While Samsung has yet to unveil its presentation plans for the upcoming event, it is almost guaranteed that a flagship wearable and slate – perhaps the Galaxy Tab S3 – will be unveiled. Although the annual IFA event has been previously attended by Samsung to unveil its new smartphone lineups, the South Korea-based tech giant is jumping the gun this time. It is already confirmed that Samsung is launching its newest smartphone flagship, the Galaxy Note 7, in a "Galaxy Unpacked" event next week.
