The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is highly anticipated to be unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2016. The South Korean tech giant has already sent out invites for a press conference at the upcoming event in Berlin.

A Samsung press conference is scheduled to happen on Sept.1, Thursday, from 11:00 to 12:00, Berlin time. However, the graphical design of the invite does not point to a tablet but to another highly anticipated product from the company, the Gear S3 wearable. It contains blue hour and minute hands, pointing to the 11th hour of the day, Techradar reported.

Very little information is known with regards to the upcoming slate. Two models are still expected to arrive this year, an 8-inch and a 9.7-inch screen size. Android Authority added that the FCC documentation that was uncovered last month could possibly be related to the 8-inch tablet. It declares that a stylus will be available as well as different connection options for models SM-P585 and SM-P585NO. These include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, LTE compatibility for bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 40, and will also be equipped with a GPS feature. A rear camera with no flash was also mentioned in the documentation.

Trusted Reviews mentioned that based on the renders that Evan Blass (@Evleaks) shared to the public not so long ago, the upcoming tablet may feature a 16:10 aspect ratio AMOLED display screen. The community is also seeing three possible options for its processor, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 that comes equipped with the SD X12 modem that is capable of reaching up to 600 Mbps download speed, or an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor with a clock-rate of 2.3 GHz, capable of utilizing the fast LPDDR4 memory and a 600 Mbps download speed. The third option is using last year's Snapdragon 652 chip.

Internal storage is rumored to start with 32GB and could go up to 128GB, expandable via a microSD card. RAM is expected to still be 3GB, but could also go up to 4GB. An 8MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing one is also rumored to arrive with the tablet. A USB Type-C port may be included as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has not been officially acknowledged.
